ikea furniture is taking over the world. its also uncomfortable.

since i put this image of furniture in muslim country, its interesting that a whole new set of meanings come about. modern furniture turning into torturous objects of terrorism. ...hmmmm.......deep.....

i was trying to coat the entire chair in glass. but i couldn't get it to look right. so i decided to keep the chair somewhat visible. its also black obsidian, in case you were wondering.

i built a cave and i slept in it

so my roomates found me day after day for the past two weeks hunched over at my computer in my warm and dark room, wearing the usual shirt and underwear combo (weather dependent) of course. there was even a little deer trail from my desk to my bed. i didnt get out much in those two weeks. of course, other times i could have been found in the lab working untill 4 in the morning and going crazy. im just glad its over and i have a little over 3 months before its starts up again.

Final for experimental animation

so this was my second animation for my experimental animation class. the guidelines was something organic or an everyday occurrence. the guidelines are always vague and its our job to narrow it down. its pretty short. our first project is a 10 week animation that isn't done yet. the third animation turned out really emo and morbid. go figure. and the forth project is on its way. so this is all that has really turned out so far. which is too bad. i was really hoping the third project would have turned out better. but it didnt. o well. maybe next time.

so my buddy zach posted this on youtube a while ago. Back when we went camping up at north fork last summer. we went on an extensive creek walking, rock jumping, pooping creek, ice cold water kinda adventure. thankfully zach captured one of the moments where we just look like a bunch of juveniles thoroughly enjoying a rather not so exciting water slide.

..recently...

so this one time, i was in a music video. Caleb and Sol are a couple of local artists that truly have a passion for Christ. They are amazing dudes. I was blessed to help them out. Shooting this was a lot of fun. it took all day. and when i mean all day. i really mean the whole day. i went from early in the morning here in the studio to around 3 o clock in the afternoon, then packed up my drums and went straight to worship practice, unpacked and set up. and then packed them back into my car and then straight to church to play worship that night. i have never packed and unpacked my drums so many times in one day. but it was worth it.
